
Scientists at Tulane University in New Orleans have discovered that an extract of cocoa powder could be an effective natural alternative to fluoride in toothpaste. Their research showed the cocoa was actually more effective than fluoride in fighting cavities and hardening tooth enamel. It may take four years before its ready for public use, but we’re sure there’ll be plenty of people counting down the days!
